Social Work

The Social Work program prepares its students, especially for the statutorily regulated profession of social worker. It is the only type of study a college degree that provides professional qualification to the profession under the Social Service Act. The qualification requirements laid down by the Social Service Act apply to social workers performing activities in social services, material need assistance, and social and legal protection of children, at schools, educational establishments, prisons, and shelter facilities. The graduates receive the “DiS.” degree (associate degree).
